1. Provider and agreement
Giflane is provided by Wilbert Kramer | Marketing + AI, established in Kampen, the Netherlands. These terms apply when you access or use Giflane. By using the service, you agree to them. If you use Giflane for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind that organisation.
A paid agreement is formed only when a working checkout shows the price and terms and your payment is accepted. If paid checkout is unavailable, no paid subscription is created.
2. The service
Giflane converts compatible screen recordings into composed GIF or MP4 files in your browser. Features may include automatic orientation, clip selection, full-length export, background styling, website-color extraction, and download.
You are responsible for checking the output before publishing it and for keeping your own copy. Browser, device, codec, and source-file limitations can affect rendering.
3. Plans, payment, renewal, and cancellation
The Free and Creator features, current price, billing period, taxes, and payment provider are shown before purchase. A monthly Creator plan renews each month until cancelled. The one-time Creator pass is charged once and does not renew.
You may cancel online through the payment provider or by emailing info@wilbertkramer.nl. Cancellation takes effect no later than the end of the current paid period; access continues until then. We do not charge a separate cancellation fee. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.
4. Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers buying online may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period. If you ask for immediate access during that period, the law may require payment for service already supplied. Any loss of a withdrawal right applies only where you gave the legally required express consent and acknowledgement.
Use the withdrawal button on this page or email us with the purchase email and a clear statement that you withdraw. Refunds are provided where required by law or where Giflane has charged incorrectly. Creator also includes a 30-day money-back guarantee: contact us within 30 days of the initial purchase if it is not a fit.
5. Your recordings and rights
You keep all rights in your recordings and exports. Giflane does not require a licence to upload or store your video because video processing happens locally. You must have permission to use the recording, interfaces, trademarks, personal data, music, and other material it contains.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Giflane unlawfully, infringe rights, bypass security or plan limits, interfere with the service, probe private networks through website-color extraction, distribute malware, or misrepresent generated output. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or comply with law.
7. Intellectual property and availability
Giflane’s software, interface, name, and original content belong to the provider or licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable right to use the service.
We aim to keep Giflane available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. Material reductions to a paid plan will be handled fairly and in accordance with mandatory law.
8. Liability, law, and contact
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss caused by your source files, device, browser, third-party platform, or failure to keep a backup. For paid use, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for Giflane in the preceding 12 months, unless mandatory law requires more.
Dutch law applies. Consumers keep any mandatory protections and competent courts available in their country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. The courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction where legally permitted.
